About Us
Safe, ad-free reading and learning for kids — built with families, for families.
Who We Are
Digizine Kids is a digital reading and learning platform designed for children, offering Digizine Kids Weekly and Creator Reads — a growing library of age-appropriate stories, activities, and educational content that kids can read, learn from, and enjoy. Digizine Kids is operated by Edukle LLC (“Edukle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company built on one belief: children deserve a digital reading experience that respects their privacy as much as their imagination.
Our Mission
We started Digizine Kids to give families an alternative to ad-driven, data-hungry kids' apps. Our mission is simple: help children read, learn, imagine, and create — in a space that is genuinely built for them, not for advertisers. Every product decision at Digizine Kids is measured against that mission first.
Built for Kids, Controlled by Parents
A parent or legal guardian creates and controls every Digizine Kids account. Child profiles use only a first name or nickname and an age band — never a full identity — so we can show age-appropriate content without collecting more than we need. • Children cannot create their own accounts, buy or spend credits, make purchases, change privacy settings, or contact authors directly. • Parents manage privacy, subscriptions, and purchases from Account > Settings > Privacy & Data. • Before any child profile is activated, we verify parental consent using a method recognized by the FTC, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Our Privacy Promise
✓ We do not show ads to children. ✓ We do not sell personal data. ✓ We do not build advertising profiles of children. ✓ No third-party analytics, session replay, or social pixels in the child reading experience. ✓ No public child profiles, and no direct child-to-author messaging. ✓ We collect only what is needed to provide the service, keep accounts secure, and let parents manage their child's experience.
Every Story Is Reviewed
Creator Reads is not an open, unmoderated upload platform. Every creator is screened and identity-verified before they can publish, and every story is reviewed before it appears in Digizine Kids. • Creators agree to our content standards and a strict no-contact rule. • Creators may never message children directly, request contact details, direct children off-platform, or solicit payment. • Any creator Q&A, contest, or community activity is moderated and parent-facing. • Parents and children can report any content or behavior using the in-app Report button, and we act immediately — including involving appropriate authorities — if we become aware that a child may be at risk.
Accessible by Design
We want every child to be able to read and enjoy Digizine Kids. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the platform, testing with keyboard navigation and screen readers, maintaining readable contrast and adjustable text sizing, and adding captions or transcripts for audio and video where feasible. We review accessibility at least annually and whenever we ship major changes.
Compliance & Standards
Digizine Kids is designed to meet U.S. children's privacy and consumer-protection standards, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and FTC-recognized methods of verifiable parental consent. To keep protections consistent for every family, we apply our strongest safeguards to every user under 18, regardless of where they live. Our full legal terms — including our Privacy Policy, Children's Privacy Notice, Terms of Use, Child Safety & Content Standards, Credits, Payments & Refunds Policy, Cookie Policy, and Accessibility Statement — are available on our website and describe these commitments in detail.
